90 Day Fiance: Stacey & Darcey Silva’s Issues In The Spinoff
The latest season of 90 Day: The Last Resort showed the growing drama between Darcey and Stacey. Darcey arrived in the show in a villainous fashion, seemingly wanting to tear down her sister’s marriage. It was previously revealed that Florian had been talking to Darcey on the phone in the middle of the night without their respective partners’ knowledge.
Darcey has clarified that she will never take Florian from her sister. But many viewers speculate that she’s somehow “jealous” of Stacey and doesn’t want to see her happy more than she is today. This led some fans to believe that Darcey’s suspicious behavior towards the married couple was her way of dealing with insecurity.
Stacey & Darcey Share Beloved Loss
Stacey Silva recently took to Instagram to remember her brother, Michael, who passed away in 1998 from cancer. The 90 Day Fiance star honored her late brother by uploading an emotional song, which she and Darcey recorded, titled, “Always In My Heart.” She captioned, “We love you our beloved brother Michael in heaven you will always be in our heart.” Many fans sympathize with Stacey by leaving heart emojis and prayers in the comments section.
Michael was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing’s sarcoma. It primarily affects children and adolescents. The Silva family tried their best to save Michael’s life, but he couldn’t win the battle. Michael’s passing left a huge mark on Darcey and Stacey’s lives. This led them to launch their business, House of Eleven, on his birthday to honor him. The twins also run a foundation called “Michael J. Silva Foundation,” which helps people battling cancer.
90 Day Fiance: Who Is Michael Silva?
Michael was only 27 years old when he got engaged to Tracy Linders. He worked as an officer with the New Haven Police Academy. He died very young, which made his loss more painful to the family. In 2019, Darcey and Stacey released the song “Always In My Heart,” along with a music video filled with memories of Michael.
Michael Silva was also mentioned numerous times on 90 Day Fiance. TLC even filmed a scene of the twins visiting his burial site. It’s also clear that Stacey and Darcey still honor and remember their brother despite over 20 years since his passing.
