90 Day Fiance’s Josh Weinstein Confirms Split From Natalie Mordovtseva After ‘Wild’ Relationship
90 Day Fiancé star Josh Weinstein and Natalie Mordovtseva have reached their breaking point. The business owner confirmed his split from the TLC personality, admitting her dependency on him “strung” the relationship “along a little bit.”
“At the moment, I would say we are friends,” Josh, 43, said during an appearance on “The Sarah Fraser Show” podcast on Tuesday, February 25. “It’s definitely a lot to deal with but I guess we’ll see where it goes.”
Natalie, 38, and Josh are airing out the final struggles of their relationship on season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort, which began airing on TLC in December 2024. The Arizona native said as the spinoff continues to unfold, leading up to the recommitment ceremony, Natalie gets “angry” over what she sees both on screen and online, often responding with “in the moment stuff.”
“I would say that it’s definitely been a wild ride with Natalie, and I care for Natalie a lot,” he continued. Josh stated his ex was seemingly dependent on him as he was her “person to call” because she didn’t have “anyone else to turn to if she was in trouble or needed something.”
“So, I always thought, if I wasn’t there to help, like, who’s going to be there for her?” he explained to host Sarah Fraser. “And so, that pulled on my heartstrings a lot and I think that kind of strung our relationship along a little bit, because I was holding on to like, well, I don’t know what’s going to happen to her, but I care for her.”
Fans are currently watching Josh and Natalie’s last-ditch effort at rekindling their romance while attending couples’ therapy on the spinoff. Natalie and Josh – the only couple who were not married on the show — arrived at the resort separately and had reconnected after Josh’s son was involved in a scary car accident.
However, drama quickly ignited after Natalie learned Josh had previously slid in the DMs of costar Sophie Sierra and asked her to come to Las Vegas.
“When Sophie says that, I was thinking ‘f–k,’” Josh said during the December 16, 2024, episode. “Natalie is very insecure when it comes to beautiful women around. And I knew hearing Sophie saying we messaged on Instagram, it’s going to give her an immediate insecurity about it.”
This later led to a heated confrontation during a cast night out at a nightclub, where Natalie called the U.K. native, 26, a “hooker” and escalated the situation by slapping the drink out of her hand.
Natalie seemingly confirmed her split from the modeling CEO later that month in a heated reply to a fan on social media.
“WE ARE NOT TOGETHER! Whatever you heard, we are not together,” she wrote from her verified Instagram account on December 26, 2024. “I had to finish the filming for the Between the Sheets and I had to be professional on set and nice so he doesn’t use it against me by saying I’m crazy or can’t control myself.”
Natalie first introduced her romance with Josh on season 2 of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff 90 Day: The Single Life. The dad of two marked her first public relationship following Natalie’s split from ex-husband Mike Youngquist.
Natalie and Mike, 40, made their 90 Day Fiancé debut in November 2019 and married in April 2020. The pair split in 2021 and Mike filed for divorce on December 5, 2023, according to a court docket viewed by In Touch.
