The Family Chantel: How Chantel Destroyed “Predator” Pedro In The Finale

The Family Chantel season 5 ended with a bang for Chantel Everett, as the popular reality TV star did not hold back when it came to destroying her ex-husband Pedro Jimeno in their final verbal showdown. Chantel and Pedro got married on 90 Day Fiancé before divorcing at the end of The Family Chantel season 4. However, it was Chantel who got the last word in the series finale of The Family Chantel season 5.

Pedro was the one who asked for a divorce, as Chantel made it clear she wanted to save her marriage and go to counseling. However, Pedro was accused of cheating and losing interest in his wife. The Dominican Republic native was very cruel towards Chantel before he decided to leave her. Chantel admitted she was having a difficult time getting over Pedro but decided to defend herself in the series finale. She traveled to the Dom with her younger brother, Riverknight Everett, to confront Pedro and his mother, Lidia Morel, and sister, Nicole Jimeno, for one last time.

Chantel Everett Finally Airs Her Feelings

Chantel came out swinging in the final The Family Chantel confrontation, as she called Pedro a “pathetic predator” and a “pathetic user.” Chantel declared, “If it wasn’t for me, you would be standing barefoot on a dirt road in the Campo eating chicken feet.” She told Pedro he used her from the start, and she finally saw through him and his family. Though Pedro finally admitted to being a bad husband, he denied cheating before apologizing to Chantel. However, Chantel refused to accept his apology since she thought he was still being dishonest about his alleged infidelity.

Chantel Has Final Meeting With Jimeno Family

Chantel also unleashed her anger towards Pedro’s family after Lidia and Nicole sent her and her family voodoo. Chantel called the move “terroristic threats” and attempted to cleanse Pedro and his family with sage, holy water, and a crucifix. “You scammed me, you preyed on me,” Chantel said to Pedro, as she insisted Lidia and Nicole were in on the scam with Pedro. She also accused Pedro of being in love with Nicole’s best friend, Coraima Morla, for many years.

Although Pedro insisted he married Chantel out of love and never cheated, he was sold out by his former friend, Obed Corporan, who told Chantel the truth in the penultimate episode of The Family Chantel. Obed said that Pedro had been intimate with Coraima since high school and didn’t defend Chantel when his family mocked her. Chantel chose not to believe Pedro when he tried to smooth things over and defend his character. However, The Family Chantel star ended the series with hope for the future as she finally moved on from Pedro.
