‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Claims Christine ‘Forced’ Him To Marry Her
It’s been nearly two years since Sister Wives stars Kody Brown and Christine Brown went their separate ways, but on this season of the show, the former couple is still analyzing what went wrong. On Sunday night’s new episode, Kody made a surprising comment about his ex as he continues to work through their split: According to his version of events, Christine “forced” herself into his life and into his plural marriage — it was never his idea in the first place.

Kody made some strong claims about his relationship with Christine.
On the show, he said that Christine “forced” her way into the family.
“Christine forced herself into my life. She basically just insisted that we be married,” he said. “I don’t care that she’s leaving. It hurt initially, but I’m fine. It’s just — stop trash-talking me to my children.”

Christine was always open about wanting to join a plural family.
If you’ve been watching Sister Wives for a while, you already know that Christine has expressed multiple times that she had always been hoping to be part of a plural family. But this is the first time Kody has mentioned anything about it being so one-sided — something Christine hasn’t confirmed or denied yet.

Meanwhile, Christine was all about celebrating the end of her marriage.
During the episode, Christine celebrated her “ex-anniversary” — the day that was once her anniversary with Kody.
“It’s hard to leave a marriage,” she said. “It’s really hard. It is hard to know when you’re done. It’s hard to show your kids when you’re done. It’s hard to show the world that you’re done. It is hard to leave a marriage, but it sure feels good on the other side.”

She admitted that she’s ‘jaded’ by plural marriage these days.
Though she was once all about it, she sees things differently now.
“To be honest with you, I don’t see it as a great family structure and I really have a hard time with it. But I think once a guy finds the love of his life, the other women are screwed,” she said.
Today, Christine seems to be a lot happier.
Earlier this month, Christine tied the knot with David Woolley and seems to be getting the happily ever after she didn’t find with Kody.
Hopefully, this is a sign that better days are on the way for Christine … but something tells us we haven’t heard the end of the drama between her and Kody on the show.
