“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our wonderful boy, Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of everyone who knew him.”
The grieving matriarch noted that the loss of her son “will leave a hole in our lives so big it will take our breath away.” She concluded by asking fans: “Please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
As we previously reported, Janelle’s son reportedly died on Tuesday in Flagstaff, AZ, where he lived alone. Authorities showed up at his home that morning after being told there had been a death. The 25-year-old was pronounced dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police believe this all points to a possible suicide. Garrison’s brother Gabriel was the one who found his lifeless body, but no suicide note was left behind. No crime is suspected but an investigation is already underway to get to the bottom of the cause of the unfortunate death.
Garrison has appeared regularly on his parents’ hit reality show “Sister Wives” since 2010. However, he recently scaled back his appearance after enlisting in the National Guard.
He moved out of his family’s home in Utah during the COVID-19 pandemic and purchased his home in Arizona in 2021, where he has lived ever since.
