Sister Wives: Kody Spins Desperate Fix for Robyn on Next One-on-One?

Sister Wives star Kody Brown clumps Robyn Brown in with his three ex-wives, which is something he rarely does these days when discussing his matrimony woes on the TLC series.

Instead of the usual, presenting Robyn as a victim of his other three wives, he paints her as a victim of his own dirty deeds. Fans see this as an attempt at damage control after such a tumultuous season for this now monogamous couple.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Sings Robyn Brown Wronged

Kody Brown has sung the same song for a few seasons now. The chorus puts Robyn Brown as a victim, who only gets “table scraps”. While he tried to sell that image to Sister Wives fans, what viewers saw on the screen didn’t back up his tune.

Sister Wives | TLC FacebookStill, he carried on about how the other wives were just brutal when it came to wife number four. It got to the point where he refused relationships with the other wives and even his adult kids if they couldn’t make nice with his youngest wife.

In the next Sister Wives One-On-One segment, he takes defending Robyn Brown to a new level. We’ve all heard Kody’s stories of Christine Brown never giving Robyn a chance. Or how Janelle Brown never reached out to the fourth wife. But now it seems that he suggests someone else is out to get her. That would be him.

Kody Calls it Suffering?

Kody’s usual campaign for his fourth wife included his spin on how other Sister Wives ladies get what they need first, leaving her with “table scraps”.

But the visuals on the screen said otherwise. As did various documents filed for land ownership. Robyn owns the lion’s share of the Sister Wives family’s real estate holdings with Kody Brown. We even got to see some of this play out on screen this season, with both Janelle and Meri Brown saying they were slighted.

Janelle was scared when she went to leave the Sister Wives patriarch because he and Robyn were so entangled in her finances. Janelle had nothing to call her own. She said it became hard to get what was rightfully hers.

The youngest Sister Wives bride owns and lives in a house, valued at nearly a million dollars. But, Janelle rented a shoebox-size apartment. So saying Kody’s youngest wife hovered at the bottom of the pecking order just didn’t coincide with what fans saw on Sister Wives.

Sister Wives: Robyn Pushed Away

Kody Brown seems to think a lot of himself in the looks department. He’s mentioned a few times on the Sister Wives show that this wife or that wife wants him for his “great abs”. In a recent episode, he said he feels like a piece of meat for his wives.

So, his new reveal is that he hurt Robyn Brown like he did the other wives, maybe even more so. He confesses to sabotaging their relationship. That’s because he was angry at his family situation.

Kody said, “Christine’s leaving, and I’m just angry. So a lot of dark winds were going through me. A lot of devils, a lot of temptation, which would be destructive of my relationship with Robyn.”

One of the things he talked about was his thought of taking on another lover. But he backed up a bit by saying, he couldn’t do that because he couldn’t be with anyone else because he loves the only wife he has left. But he also admits that by telling Robyn his dark thoughts, he self-sabotaged their relationship.

He also admits that these reveals he was making to Robyn were “terrible.” Then he added,  “There’s some things in a man’s mind that should never be expressed.” Does this mean he was taunting the only wife he has left with thoughts of another woman?

Reason Behind Kody Painting Dark Time for Robyn?

Fans see Kody’s attempt at confessing to all these awful things he’s said to Robyn as a damage control ploy. After Meri, Janelle, and Christine left, the last wife got a good chunk of the blame from the Sister Wives fans.

Robyn came out looking like a winner in a battle for who gets to keep Kody Brown. So, maybe by making her as much of a victim as his other wives were, fans might lighten up on her? When asked by Sukanya Krishnan during the Sister Wives One-on-One, Robyn said Kody was sabotaging their marriage.

But she saw it as self-punishment, so she tried to stop it, but through it all, she stayed around. So, there you have it, Kody Brown lets Sister Wives fans know that he also treated Robyn badly.

Who knows, maybe he hopes to take some of the sting out of what fans say about her today. Considering, she’s the person who many fans hold responsible for the demise of this famous polygamous family, he might want to change that for her. So, he confesses to some awful treatment aimed at the only wife he has left to share the screen with him in the TLC series.
