They shared similar views, which helped them form a close friendship. Unfortunately, things changed in 2010 after Kody married Robyn. He became distant from his first three wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine, which led to a “civil war” between his family.
Kody stopped reciprocating with his wives during the pandemic era. He began spending the most time with Robyn and ceased visiting the others. While Meri and Janelle stayed, Christine decided to leave and divorced Kody. Recently, Janelle shared her candid views about her husband’s situation in front of cameras. She claimed that Kody and Robyn have purposely kept the Brown family apart. However, the 54-year-old woman may be wrong in assessing the situation. She may be overlooking the real reasons for the separation, such as a lack of mutual respect or incompatibility.
Janelle Sons’ Disrespect Is Keeping Kody Away From The Family
Kody’s biggest gripe with Janelle is that she hasn’t raised the kids to respect him. The 54-year-old reality star is a father of eighteen kids. He demands respect but can’t get it by force. She has undervalued him and emotionally abandoned him. Since Kody also has a huge ego, he hasn’t bowed down in front of Janelle. Instead, he has selfishly distanced himself. Kody and Janelle’s relationship is falling apart, and they’re both accountable for it.
Could Kody & Janelle Reconcile?
The latest updates suggest Kody and Janelle have split. There is no possible way for the two to return to having a happy relationship again. The Sister Wives star seems happy with Robyn, as she’s his perfect wife. She respects him, follows him, and cares for him. In comparison, Janelle has now become all about herself. After years of being one of the four wives, she has become the one and the only matriarch of her kids. She doesn’t need Kody by her side and can take care of herself.
Janelle believes she doesn’t know who Kody is anymore. She has also expressed that the Brown family patriarch is getting angrier by the day. Therefore, the best possible outcome for Janelle is to move on with her life and forget about Kody. She has spent nearly 30 years with the man and has raised six beautiful kids. She has followed all the rules and fulfilled her role. She doesn’t owe Kody any explanation for leaving him. The Utah woman deserves to live a calm and happy life on her terms.
The Brown family’s “civil war” has turned many members against Kody. Fans have also begun hating the popular patriarch for his actions. The separation naturally happened as the Sister Wives cast members became more distant and less attached to the idea of polygamy.
