Sheila Lashes Out At Angry 90 Day Fiancé Fan Accusing Her Of Using David
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Sheila Mangubat is livid after a viewer accused her of using her American boyfriend David Dangerfield for his money. The 30-year-old Sheila is a 90 Day Fiancé newcomer but has already received praise for her honesty and simplicity. Sheila is in a relationship with David, an Omaha-based man who was born deaf and met her in a Facebook group for deaf singles. Like 42-year-old David, Sheila is also hearing impaired because of a childhood injury. Sheila recently suffered a tragedy on the show when her mother Remedios died after falling down her family home’s stairs.
Sheila wants to get her house fixed and is relying on David to help her with the money, which amounts to $1,725. David has been saying he’s not rich and works two jobs to make a living. As per Sheila‘s Instagram post, a viewer told Sheila she should be ashamed of herself since he’d already given her $3,000 in “the first year of your ‘online relationship’” amid other insulting comments.
Sheila responded to them in her caption. She wrote, “Why are you angry mam? What are you saying I’m using David?? You better finish all our episode[s] before you speak.” Sheila added, “Yes I know Americans are not rich who said American are rich and David is not rich either I know that,” to the fan who wrote, “Not every American is as rich as most of you foreigners think.”
Sheila Reveals Why She Hasn’t Learned American Sign Language Yet
The viewer also asked Sheila why she hasn’t “learned to sign.” They bragged that it took them less than a month to learn it. “I learned from a library book!!! If you truly love David, as you call proclaim, you would have learned!” they told Sheila. Sheila let them know, “Above all why I am not good in signing or learned Bec I speak 3 languages.” As Sheila learns American Sign Language, it will be the fourth language she knows. “So sometimes I forgetting [sic] to sign…that’s all period,” Sheila explained.
Sheila sweetly told the person that they should not judge a book by its cover and managed to get cheered on by her supporters in the comments section. Her 90 Day Fiancé co-star Tyray Mollet was one of them. “Don’t worry Sheila, ignore the haters,” he wrote to the Filipina woman. “Don’t loose [sic] your energy on online haters and trolls,” another fan told Sheila. It is clear that the number of well-wishers that Sheila has trumps the number of people who think Sheila’s taking advantage of David.
David recently explained that he can’t start a fundraiser for Sheila because of tax purposes. Sheila, meanwhile, has politely refused to accept any monetary help from her fans. It appears she has a business of her own now in Cebu City where she lives. She has been running a shop; she also lives in a different house now than what was shown on TV. Since Sheila told her critic to finish all the episodes before calling her out, it means that the show will explain how Sheila has managed to turn her life around in such a short amount of time.
