Niles and Matilda Give Life Update After the Success of Their GoFundMe Campaign

Niles and Matilda, a couple from “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days” Season 7, have faced significant challenges in starting their life together in the United States.

Niles’ new job didn’t provide enough income for him to save up for the necessary expenses, including Matilda’s visa paperwork, immigration lawyer fees, and the cost of a trip to reunite with her. Despite their strong bond and determination, the financial strain made it difficult for them to progress towards their goal of being together in the US. Their struggles were highlighted during the Tell All episodes, where fellow cast members Tigerlily and her husband Adnan criticized Niles for being poor and not working hard enough to bring Matilda to the US. Tensions ran high, and things almost got physical between Niles and Adnan behind the scenes.

Despite the criticism, Niles’ good heart and genuine love for Matilda won over the show’s fans. As soon as they launched their GoFundMe page, donations poured in from supportive viewers. Initially, Niles asked for only $8,000, which was enough to cover Matilda’s visa and her trip to the US. However, the fans’ generosity exceeded their expectations, and they ended up raising over $16,000—double the amount they had asked for

This overwhelming support not only provided the necessary funds but also gave Niles and Matilda a sense of hope and encouragement. Recently, the couple went live on Instagram to thank their fans for their love, support, and donations. Niles, who had always been a loner and hesitant to ask for help, was deeply moved by the outpouring of kindness and support. He jokingly mentioned that perhaps he should open up more in the future, given how well things turned out the first time he did.

As of 2025, Niles and Matilda are still together and deeply in love, although they are in a long-distance relationship. All the necessary arrangements have been made, and they are now just waiting for Matilda’s visa to be approved so they can start their life together in the US. While the ’90 Day Fiancé’ franchise has often been criticized for ruining its cast members’ lives on and off screen, in Niles and Matilda’s case, it’s bringing two genuine and deserving people together.
