The reality TV industry is filled with shows that will have you hooked instantly, no matter how absurd they may seem at first. One such show is Sister Wives, which revolves around Kody Brown and his polygamist family. The show focused on his relationships with wives Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine. Christine was the first to leave the man, with Meri and Janelle following suit.

After Christine left Kody Brown for good, he was clearly upset at the situation at hand but fans believe he was in no position to react how he did. Why? Well, they simply took him on a trip down memory lane where he made distasteful comments about Christine on her face extremely nonchalantly.

Kody Brown Makes a Heartbreaking Revelation on Sister Wives

Kody Brown has done quite a few questionable things during the eighteen seasons of Sister Wives. However, the worst of them has got to be when he revealed that he wasn’t attracted to Christine on their wedding day.

Christine was Brown’s third wife but the first one to leave him and go her separate way. During the finale of season 16, she took all of his stuff and moved it into the garage. Thus, season 17 picked up right from where they left the story – Christine and Brown’s failing marriage.

In the episode titled It’s Over, the two sat down for a discussion where they ultimately decided that they would be ending the marriage for good. However, in the clip posted on TLC’s YouTube channel, the discussion starts with Brown making an absolutely distasteful comment about Christine and his feelings for her.

He said: OK, so we can unravel this further because it’s true that I wasn’t attracted to you when we got married. I felt pressured into the marriage. I did not know better at the time.

Poor Christine sat there in shock as the man she loved for all these years made such a heartbreaking revelation.

The former couple were married “spiritually” on the twenty-fifth of March 1994. Back then, he was still legally married to his first wife Meri, and spiritually to his second wife, Janelle.

Fans Question Kody Brown’s Audacity

Clearly, fans were not at all pleased with how apathetic Brown was towards Christine while she was sitting in front of him. Throughout the discussion, he looked and acted like he was very hurt because Christine had left him.

However, fans believe that was nothing but a façade. On Reddit’s r/SisterWives, a user posted a question asking fans about the “worst thing Kody has ever done/said.” A ton of them expressed their displeasure with Brown’s comments about Christine.

Another post on the same subreddit called out Brown’s true thoughts. The user pointed out that while some may think that he was distraught their marriage was coming to an end because he “was secretly in love with her,” that doesn’t seem to be the case.

The reason he’s so mad at Christine is because unlike Janelle and Meri she embarrassed him, and she gave him no power in the situation. She essentially fell out of love, moved his stuff out, and went from being seemingly in love with Kody to having no more feelings for him (viewers could see her falling out of love with him, but Kody was so busy with Robyn that he didn’t see Christine leaving in the cards). Kody has such a big ego, and he thought C would react like Meri and hang on forever, he was shocked when she left.
