FAMILY DRAMA 1000-Lb. Sisters Tammy Slaton forced to move out of $76K Kentucky home and in with brother Chris after fight with sister
1000-LB. SISTERS star Tammy Slaton has been forced to move out of her $76,000 Kentucky home and has moved in with her brother Chris Combs, The U.S. Sun can exclusively report.
According to an insider, Tammy’s sister Amanda Halterman, 42, owned the modest property – and after one too many fights, the TLC star moved out of the rental.
The source told The U.S. Sun: “[Tammy] had to move in with her brother Chris because she lost her house.
“She was renting it from her sister, Amanda… and they just do not get along at all.”
Tammy’s pal claimed: “They fight worse than cats and dogs.”
Several insiders have told The U.S. Sun that Tammy and Amanda have had multiple intense arguments over recent months, including at her late husband Caleb Willingham’s funeral.
Chris‘ home is about 38 miles away from Tammy’s old home in Sturgis, Kentucky.
He lives in a modest $60,000, one-story house, and Tammy reportedly moved in sometime in November.
According to the insider, Tammy has eyes on a nearby property she’s planning to move into later this winter.
TWISTED SISTERS
The U.S. Sun previously reported that a show insider claimed siblings Tammy, Amanda, Chris, and Amy Slaton, 35, had a huge fight while filming 1000-Lb. Sisters in Florida.
“The film crew was present, but they felt uncomfortable working with them because of the way they were behaving,” the source shared.
Tammy’s friend claimed the argument turned physical, and the family “really got into it.”
Cameras reportedly took an extended break from filming the season to let the cast cool down from the heated brawl.
SHOW MUST GO ON
Despite the hiatus, production on the TLC show picked back up, and Season 4 Part B is premiering on Tuesday.
In the first half of season four, fans saw Tammy finally get the weight loss surgery that she’s been fighting for since season one.
At the Part A finale, she left her Ohio weight-loss facility to head back home to Kentucky.
Around the same time in February 2023, Tammy’s sister Amy kicked her ex-husband Michael Halterman out of her home.
The next month, Michael officially filed for divorce from Amy.
At the end of March, The U.S. Sun reported Amy filed a protective order against her husband on February 28.
The same day, Amy opened a domestic violence case in Kentucky court against Michael.
By May, Amy dropped the domestic charges against her ex, and fans of the TLC show are now excited to watch all of the drama caught on camera.
CATCHING UP WITH TAMMY
After Tammy left the rehab center where she met and married her husband Caleb Willingham, their relationship started to fall apart.
In May, a source close to the couple spoke to The U.S. Sun and said: “Tammy has her legal team lined up and is ready to file for divorce.”
“They split up because Caleb hasn’t been following his diet in rehab,” the insider alleged, adding: “He has gained 30 lbs and hasn’t been working his program.”
“They got into a big fight over it and he told her he wanted a divorce, but then he tried to backtrack,” the insider revealed.
Before anything was finalized, Caleb died at the age of 40 while still in rehab.
Tammy mourned her loss while throwing her late husband an emotional sunset ceremony in Kentucky.
BUSTED!
Tammy was busted for marijuana possession just five days after the funeral.
According to court documents obtained exclusively by The U.S. Sun, Tammy was charged with one count of possession of marijuana, and two counts of possession of d.r.u.g paraphernalia.
A Sturgis police officer responded to the complaint on August 4.
She was charged on August 7 and ordered to appear in court on August 31 for her arraignment.
Radar Online reported as long as Tammy stays out of trouble for six months, the charges with be dismissed because she completed a Marijuana Education Program.
Reportedly, all of the drama that has happened in Tammy’s and Amy’s lives from late February through the end of July will be featured on Season 4 Part B.
According to a source, Tammy says: “Season 4 Part B is good, but Season 5 blows this season out of the water.”
