Fans know that Armando was married to a woman before marrying Kenny. Unfortunately, his wife passed away in a car accident. She and their unborn baby didn’t make it. However, he and his late wife did have a daughter together. But what did he do for a job before meeting his now husband?

Armando went to school to become an architect. So, after he graduated from school, he started working for the government doing construction licensing and permits. He then became a supervisor for a construction company. However, he didn’t work there for long.

Armando decided to open up a pet resort. He put his architectural skills to work and designed everything. He was happy running the pet resort. And he continues to run it. However, he is not as heavily involved as he was since moving to a different area of Mexico.

The TLC celeb showed Kenny Niedermeier the pet resort when he moved to Mexico. However, they decided to move to a different part of the country. And that made it hard for him to stay involved with the business. Yet, he and Kenny do visit the resort when they are in town.

Armando Rubio isn’t just a reality television star. He is also working as a freelance architect. He works with a friend who has an architecture company in America. So, he designs for his friend. He also does graphic designing. He enjoys working in the creative field.
