Bachelorette Alum Josh Seiter Dies After Battle With Depression

The Bachelorette alum Josh Seiter has tragically passed away at the young age of 36. Josh appeared in The Bachelorette season 11 but was unfortunately sent home the very first week.

According to a statement posted on Josh‘s Instagram account, the former Bachelorette contestant’s family sadly announced that Josh died. “It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Joshua’s unexpected passing. As all who knew him can attest, Joshua was an incredibly bright light in an increasingly dim world. His fearless voice and indomitable spirit helped thousands of people in their darkest moments feel just a little less alone.”

The statement from Josh’s family pleaded with his social media followers to seek help if they’re “experiencing a mental health crisis.” The news of Josh’s passing comes after he mentioned online that he’s “surviving depression” and after being open in recent years about his mental health struggles.
