TLC star Kody Brown might be tremendously unpopular with Sister Wives viewers, but some feel astonished he accomplished one particular feat.

Fans Can’t Believe Kody Brown Fathered So Many Children

Kody Brown has 18 children total — 15 biological and three adopted ones. An exorbitant number of children isn’t uncommon in families who practice fundamentalist religions. After all, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have 19 biological children who survived infancy.

But even so, some viewers find it remarkable Kody and his wives managed to conceive so many times.

“How they got pregnant so many times,” a Sister Wives viewer posted on Reddit recently. “I’m sure this has been discussed before, but it’s actually amazing to me that they all had as many kids as they do. No matter how fertile you are, there are still only a few days every month that it’s possible to conceive.”

“How was [Kody] able to time it right with each wife when he’s rotating 3-4 houses every night?” the OP continued. “And that means he was probably having to perform every night without any nights to just chill (to be clear I DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR HIM, I’m just saying). That just seems like a lot, honestly. I just had my third and final child and it’s not that easy or fun to time sex for conception, even in monogamy. This is a true feat.”
