‘Sister Wives’ Clip Surfaces Of Truely Brown’s Cruel Treatment

Sister Wives fans have watched Truely Brown grow up on screen. She currently resides with her mother and stepfather in Utah and seems quite happy. However, fans can’t help but wonder if she also mourns the relationship with her biological father, Kody Brown.

Truely has never known a life before Robyn Brown. As she grew up, she watched Kody continuously prioritize his relationship with Robyn’s family over relationships with his other wives and children.

Fans recently dug up an old clip that proves just how cruely Kody treated Truely in the past.

Viewers Think Kody Neglected Truely Brown When She Needed Him Most

Truely Brown is a self-described “angsty teen” and Christine Brown Woolley’s last child that lives at home. However, she seems to thoroughly enjoy going on outings with her mom, stepdad, and siblings.

But even so, fans wish her biological father treated her better.

“This was messed up with Kody,” one viewer shared on Reddit. “The fact he had Truely (one of his only other minor children), facing his new family and kids during a face-to-face meeting but refused to hug her or allow the kids to play was cruel. Why even meet?”

The OP uploaded a video of the scene during the pandemic where Christine brings Truely, Ysabel, and Gwendlyn to see Kody and Robyn’s children. Truely sadly asks if she can play with Ariella and Solomon, but the adults quickly shut her down.

“I don’t think Robyn’s kids are enjoying that, but I do recognize the difference in how he treats them compared to his other bio children,” the OP continued. “There would be nothing stopping me from hugging her and then I would sanitize and shower. You can see how disappointed she is – as he is on the other side with his other kids he can love on. Especially as he is basically holding Ari in his lap, but won’t love on his other daughter.”

Redditors Lash Out At Kody’s Cruel Treatment Of His Daughter

Although nothing can erase Truely Brown’s heartbreak in this scene, many fans feel glad to know David Woolley stepped in to be a strong father figure.

Other Redditors admonished Kody’s behavior in the scene, writing:

• “This video makes me despise Robyn and Kody more than I already do. They are trash parents and trash people.”
• “Seeing this reminds me of why when Kody tried to hug Truely when Truely was moving away – she couldn’t be bothered. I hope Truely has what she needs in David. It seems like she does.”
• “Kody and Robyn are terrible. The way Kody stays with one family and has the little kid on his lap while he dismisses his little girl. It’s cruel.”
