It’s a Boy! “90 Day Fiance” Stars Bilal Hazziez & Shaeeda Sween Announce Birth of Their First Child Together
There’s a new member of the 90 Day Fiance family.
Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween— who tied the knot on the Season 9 finale– announced Friday that they had welcomed their first baby together on December 14. They also revealed that they’ve named their son Ayaan.
“After two days of labor, we joyfully welcomed our handsome son, Ayaan, on December 14, 2024, at 10:40 PM,” the couple said in the post shared on their Instagram accounts and the official ‘90 Day Fiance’ account. “Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and love as we embrace this new addition to our family. Welcome to the world, Baby Ayaan!”

This is the first child for Shaeeda and third for Bilal, who shares a son and a daughter with his ex-wife. Starting a family together was a major issue for the couple during their time on 90 Da Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, with the Kansas City real estate agent initially unsure if he wanted to have children with the yoga entrepreneur from Trinidad and Tobago.
“Bilal is looking forward to an idyllic honeymoon phase with his new bride, but Shaeeda’s got business on the brain — baby business,” read a TLC teaser of the season shared by TV Insider. “Their prenup contains a stipulation about Shaeeda getting pregnant before she turns 40, but Bilal frets that the burden of a new baby could torpedo their nascent marriage. But a fateful visit to the doctor reveals unsettling news about her fertility, unearthing trust and abandonment issues and pushing their relationship to the brink. Will their pregnancy deadline fulfill Shaeeda’s dreams of motherhood or prove to be the expiry date for an increasingly precarious marriage?”
Sadly, the couple suffered two miscarriages before welcoming their baby boy, who’s arrival they announced in October.
“Counting down the days until we meet our little miracle!” the pair shared in a joint post with the ’90 Day Fiance’ Instagram account. “After two heartbreaking losses, we’re beyond grateful to finally be welcoming our baby boy before the year ends. Thank you to everyone who has lifted us up with your love, prayers, and kind words — your support has carried us through.”
Ayaan’s arrival was celebrated on social media by multiple ’90 Day Fiance’ stars, including Akinyi Obala, who’s expecting a baby with her husband Benjamin Taylor.
