Pregnant Sister Wives’ Mykelti Brown ‘goes into panic’ as mom feels ‘powerless’

Sister Wives season 19 is in full flow. It’s no secret the family has endured a fair few rifts since the show first began. These days, Kody Brown has one wife remaining of the original four he married. He and Robyn Brown are still together, and things get super emotional for her in the show’s new episodes.
TLC stars Christine Brown and Robyn are reunited during an important time during season 19 episode 3. Christine and Kody’s daughter, Mykelti Brown, is expecting twins. As Mykelti has to undergo a medical procedure before giving birth, the family members band together despite their differences.

During Sister Wives season 19 episode 3, Mykelti has to undergo a procedure linked to her pregnancy.

Christine explains how it’s hard on her emotionally to have her “kid go through any kind of procedure.”
Mykelti tells the cameras how the “entire pregnancy” her heart rate “never spiked.”
As soon as she was “getting the numbing for the epidural and the epidural,” her heart rate started spiking and her blood pressure started going up.
Mykelti heads into the operating room, and thankfully Christine, Robyn and Mykelti’s sister, Aspyn, are there to support one another through the scary time.
TLC star star went into ‘panic’
Tearing up in a confessional, Christine tells fans how difficult it was for her during Mykelti’s procedure: “Those doors are so hard to see because you know your child is on the other side and there’s nothing you can do to help them.”
Mykelti adds how she was “extremely upset” she couldn’t have her partner, Tony, in the operation room with her while she got the epidural.
“The doctors and nurses in the room were like something’s going on. My body was shaking, just because anxiety. The only solution is get me my husband,” she explains.
Christine trusted in the doctors that everything was going to be “OK” for her daughter. She explained how she was glad for Aspyn being there, as well as Robyn: “The three of us just sat and waited for it to be done.”
Later that day, Mykelti and Tony safely welcomed their twins, Archer and Ace Padron.
Shedding tears in a confessional Robyn recounts the moment she and Christine were “holding their grandbabies together.”
“I just wish it was under different circumstances, as far as Christine and I were concerned…. for a moment I could just forget all that,” she adds.
Tony and Mykelti wanted Robyn there at the birth as well as to stay for some days afterward to help look after their newborn babies.
Mykelti explains that when Robyn “goes back home,” Christine will be also be able to bond with her grandkids, as well as Tony’s mom, Maria.
Christine told the cameras being around Robyn was “awkward,” adding: “We’ll do it for our kids.”
