90 Day: The Last Resort season 1 revealed that Jovi Dufren was in a relationship with a stripper named Jasmine before meeting Yara Zaya.
90 Day: The Last Resort stars Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya have been fighting over him reconnecting with his stripper ex-girlfriend, Jasmine. Jovi is a 33-year-old ROV supervisor from New Orleans who has been married to his 28-year-old Ukrainian wife, Yara, since February 2020. Jovi and Yara joined the franchise during 90 Day Fiancé season 8, after which the couple welcomed a daughter named Mylah. Jovi and Yara disagree over having a second child, but more importantly, their marriage is at risk because of Jovi’s strip club visits.
Jovi, with his new friends Big Ed Brown and Asuelu Pulaa, visited the Red Garter Saloon on episode 10 of 90 Day: The Last Resort. It was Asuelu’s first time at the strip club as Jovi and Big Ed enjoyed watching him experience it. Jovi told the cameras that strip clubs have been a constant throughout his life. Jovi was 16 years old the first time he ever went to one. He used to go to Bourbon Street, squeeze through a little gate, and run up the stairs before the security could find him to sneak into the club
Jovi Went To Jamaica With The Woman
While the group enjoyed the performance, Jovi asked one of the strippers something. He asked her if she knew a woman named Jasmine, and revealed they went to Jamaica about eight years ago. “Yeah, she’s cool, but she’s not here tonight,” the stripper told Jovi. She didn’t know when Jasmine would be coming back.
Jovi referred to Jasmine as a “friend” he went to Jamaica with. “She told me that she wasn’t working and that was the end of it,” Jovi told the cameras. However, Jovi was bummed because he wanted Jasmine to show him around Key West. However, Jovi thought it was probably best for his marriage that she didn’t show up. Jovi didn’t have to worry about overcoming the hurdle later.
Big Ed Outed Jovi To Yara For Texting A Stripper
In episode 11, the cast had their last check-in together at the resort. Everyone except Asuelu and Kalani Faagata took a cruise to unwind and relax. The cruise wasn’t relaxing for them since Yara already found out that Jovi had gone to the strip club behind her back. Everyone blamed Jovi for making the strip club plan. Big Ed decided to stir the pot by telling Yara to ask Jovi who he was texting last night. “Some stripper in Jamaica,” said Big Ed, who seems to have not known the whole story. A livid Yara knew exactly who Big Ed was talking about.
“I just said, ‘Hey, do you live in Key West, and what club do you work at?’ and that’s it,” Jovi told Yara. Big Ed then told Yara about how Jovi wanted the stripper to come out with them and go party. Jovi said he just wanted to have some “fun” with the stripper. Yara threw a drink at Jovi’s face and walked off. Yara told Angela that the woman wasn’t just “any stripper.” Jovi had been in a relationship with the woman. “He goes with her, he invites her to Costa Rica, wherever they go,” Yara added.
Will Jovi Leave Yara & Get Together With Stripper?
Jovi’s nonchalant attitude towards strip clubs affects Yara, which can hurt their relationship. He feels visiting the clubs is harmless because he’s only looking and not touching. Jovi wants Yara to let him have fun while she takes care of their child at home. Considering how serious Jovi’s obsession with strippers is, as shown in 90 Day: The Last Resort, one could assume that Jovi and Yara decide not to stay together in the last episode.
However, Jovi and Yara’s social media pages tell a different story. Or perhaps 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1 was a wake-up call for Jovi to clean up his act. The couple recently received praise for dressing up as Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo for Halloween. Yara and Jovi also wore Morticia and Gomez Addams from The Addams Family costumes, while Mylah dressed as Wednesday. Since they are likely still together, hopefully, Yara doesn’t have to worry about Jovi’s friend Jasmine anymore.
