90 Day: The Single Life star Chantel Everett doesn’t want her mom Karen Everett to interrogate her boyfriend Giannis at the Tell All. Chantel took a leap of faith and went on a trip to Greece with her friends during The Single Life season 4. It had been a few months since Chantel and Pedro were divorced, and Chantel was already looking for her next husband. She had a long list of things she expected from her new man and seemed to have found some of them in professional soccer player Giannis Varouxakis.

Shaun Robinson invited Karen on stage so she could meet Giannis after having heard “so much” about him from Chantel (via ExtraTV).
Karen asks Giannis how many siblings he has in his family. “Two brothers and one sister,” he adds. Giannis tells her that his sister turns 31 years old in August. Karen wants to know if Giannis’ sister has gotten along with his exes in the past. “Mom, please don’t. Please, please, please, Mom,” Chantel begs her mother.

Karen thinks Giannis is a pro “foosball” player and asks him if he is playing all the time with “minimal breaks.” Giannis admits it’s true, which is why he hasn’t been able to meet Chantel yet in the U.S. Chantel points out that her mom asking her partners questions is “new.” Karen says she does it when her partners give her reasons to grill them, “especially when they give the wrong answers.” Karen’s questions have a connection with Pedro. Pedro’s sister, Nicole, interfered in his relationship with Chantel, and Pedro was spending more time than necessary with his co-workers.
Chantel is a lot like her mother, even though she feels Karen’s questions for Giannis are embarrassing. While she was in Greece, Chantel found out that Giannis was close to his family. He asked Chantel what went wrong with her marriage. She said Pedro’s family hated her from the time they saw her. She accused them of using her for citizenship. Chantel said her ideal man would be an orphan. Giannis did not react well to Chantel’s confession, but the two did become close in the days that followed, as he told her he liked her.
Chantel saw a spark in Giannis that she couldn’t let go of. She revealed she was still in touch with him after returning to America. Chantel did not see herself going and settling down in Greece to be with Giannis. Moreover, she seemed to be feeling wary of getting yet another international man to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. Chantel has yet to reveal if she’s serious about being in a long-distance relationship with Giannis. Her social media pages also show no sign of Giannis, suggesting they never met again after The Single Life season 4.
