90 Day Fiance Cast Member Armando Rubio Was Married for Eight Years

90 Day Fiance celeb Armando Rubio has chosen to keep information about his ex-wife private. So, there isn’t a whole lot known about her or the life they had before Armando was introduced with Kenny by TLC.

But, in addition to having their daughter, Hannah, Armando and his former wife were married for eight years – which isn’t a small number by any stretch. And, it turns out, the final nail in that relationship was when Armando finally came out as gay.

Armando’s Ex Tragically Lost Her Life

Even though Armando Rubio is happy these days with Kenny, things with his ex-wife ended in tragedy. It turns out, on the night that Armando’s ex lost her life, the pair had gotten into a heated argument over finances. And, at the time, Armando thought it best to leave the situation before it escalated further.

Unfortunately, while driving down the highway, Armando was hit from behind several times as his estranged ex was behind the wheel of the car behind him. Eventually, Armando’s ex lost control of the vehicle and crashed – losing her life at the scene.

Armando said previously that his ex struggled with anger issues. And if nothing else, those issues ultimately led to her death. And, even though the pair were already going through a divorce, that hits hard when you spend that many years with someone.

And, of course, making this tragedy hit even harder was the fact that Armando’s ex was pregnant at the time. So, even though many 90 Day Fiance fans have gone after Armando for pushing Kenny to be a father in his 60s, after losing a child, it’s understandable why Armando would want another one.

90 Day Fiance Celeb Has Been Through a Lot

Armando Rubio told his 90 Day Fiance fans that it was a “very tragic event”, and something  that both he and Hannah spent a long time grieving. And, if nothing else, the one silver lining is that Armando and Hannah are both happy now with Kenny in their lives – even though a loss like that often never truly heals.

In the meantime, whether or not Kenny and Armando decide to have a baby is another ongoing question mark in their current 90 Day Fiance storyline. In addition, whether or not these two would permanently ditch small-town life for big-city living in Mexico City also remains to be seen. So, there are a lot of unanswered questions for these two as current episodes air.
